Dr. Aldo Ruffolo

President & Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Aldo Ruffolo has spent over 20 years providing high-level strategic leadership to the healthcare industry and previously held the role of Senior VP Operations at Envision Physician Services, Business Development, Mergers, and Growth Strategy, while also serving as a strategy consultant for health systems in the United States. Aldo previously held leadership roles in healthcare groups, including Sheridan Healthcare, AmSurg, Lakeland Healthcare (where he served as CEO), and Sarah Bush Lincoln. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and received his MBA from Kellogg School of Business.

Dr. Deepak Kaura

Chief Medical Officer & Chief Product Officer

Deeply invested and embedded within healthcare as an experienced administrator, innovator, pediatric radiologist, and founding member of Pureform Radiology, Dr. Deepak Kaura is the co-founder and Chief Medical and Product Officer for Synthesis Health and the vice-chair of the CAN Health Network, a national partnership dedicated to the economic advancement of the Canadian healthcare system. Prior to joining the team, Deepak was the CMO of 1QBit, the chair of Joule, a Canadian Medical Association subsidiary, and spent five years in Qatar as the Executive Chair of Foundation of Clinical Services at Sidra Medicine, where he led the development of a new hospital.

Dr. Murray A. Reicher

Board Member & Chief Innovation Officer

Murray A. Reicher is an experienced radiologist, inventor, and serial entrepreneur. He is globally recognized for his work in automated computerized medical imaging, founding one of the world’s foremost PACS companies, D.R. Systems Inc. in 1992. Murray has also held several leadership positions in diagnostic radiology, having previously been the President of Radiology Medical Group Inc., the Chief Medical Officer for IBM Watson Health Imaging, and the CEO of D.R. Systems, which he founded. Murray currently serves as a clinical instructor at the University of California San Diego, in the Department of Radiology.

Jesse Wakley

Chief Technology Officer

Jesse Wakley is an experienced technology leader with a background in radiology and healthcare IT. He is the founder of Radiology Technology Inc. and previously served as the Director of IT/Development at Direct Radiology. He is also a registered PACS/RIS Administrator and RadTech.Β  Previously, he held the role of Technology Leader at Philips Diagnostic Clinical Services, where he was responsible for leading the overall technology strategy and overseeing IT operations.Β  He has created multiple healthcare platforms which have integrated with every healthcare vendor – processing billions of data transactions.

Francis Curry

Chief Financial Officer

Francis Curry has brought years of progressive healthcare management experience in all facets of financial and operations management. He started several healthcare companies and has negotiated merger and acquisition transactions in the information technology and healthcare services fields, structured, arranged, and performed due diligence activities for multiple merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions, he also has directed the development of several companies from inception to exit/sale. He has held the CEO, COO, and CFO titles, including the Chief Operating Officer of a publicly traded Fortune 500 healthcare company where he participated in an aggressive management-led turn-around strategy.

Scott Seberg

Chief Operating Officer

Scott Seberg is a qualified executive with extensive management experience in various medical settings including academic hospitals, outpatient facilities, group practices, and managed care organizations. Scott’s previous appointments include CEO of Midwest Imaging Professionals, President of Meridian Regional Imaging, and Practice Director of Radiology at the University of Chicago Hospitals. He co-founded and currently holds a principal role at Paratus Healthcare Partners, a consulting and advisory services provider targeted towards medical practices.

Amy Gilchrist

General Counsel & Board Secretary

Amy Gilchrist is an experienced attorney and legal business partner with over 25 years as corporate counsel to health tech, medical device and insurance enterprises. Before joining Synthesis, she held senior legal leadership roles at Philips in its Precision Diagnosis, Clinical Services ventures, and Research organizations. Amy brings expertise in the legal and regulatory compliance issues impacting the healthcare technology industry globally, and in collaborative business and research alliances that drive innovation.

Landon Downs

The Co-founder and President of 1QBit, a developer of hardware-agnostic software solutions across quantum and classical computing hardware platforms, Landon Downs is an experienced technology innovator and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder and Managing Partner of Cambium Capital, a venture capital fund focused on the future of computation, and co-founder and Partner at Agentis Capital. He is a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer and currently serves as the President and Director of Acumen Canada, and as a Director of the Quantum Algorithm Institute and the Pacific Institute for the Mathematical Science (PIMS).

Frans A van Houten

Frans van Houten is passionate about purpose-driven innovation, entrepreneurship and business transformation to drive customer value and competitiveness. Under his leadership as CEO of Royal Philips, the company transformed into a leading health technology solutions company, leveraging data and informatics to improve healthcare provider results, and became a forerunner across ESG dimensions, having become carbon neutral in its operations since 2020 and recycling over 90% of its waste. Mr. van Houten was an initiator of the World Economic Forum Compact for Responsive and Responsible Leadership as well as founder and co-chair of the Platform to Accelerate the Circular Economy.
